Lens #3 was sent overnight, and it underexposes a lot too. The EV on this was set at +1.7 - the same setting as the last two lenses. No telephoto lens for me yet. Oh well... at least I have this cute shot out of it... Does anyone have any camera knowledge that would help me understand what could be happening? I have seen this same camera and lens combination work quite successfully here on Flickr. P.S. I'm sending in my 17-50 with my camera body to Tamron to see if I can get that lens to work. This a leff over shot from a weekend spent in Nottingham shooting both Joey and Adam for their upcoming profiles. This quite large and awkward rainbow ledge was the first spot of the first day, Adam and Joey battled with the ledge untill both came way with the goods but due to Joe lacing a better Back Unity trick during this barb weekend this shot had to be dropped. I captured joe's Back Unity to huge Mute out with my Sigma 10mm fisheye and lit it with two Canon 540EZ's off to my left set at 1/2th power and both with diffusers. Puget Sound from Seahurst Park

I love to walk the trail at Seahurst Park. It follows the beach and has a great view of Puget Sound. This is one of three pictures I took on a great day for it. I tried to improve the dynamic range of this photo by adjusting the color levels of the sky separately from the water. I used the threshold tool to create a mask for the sky. I hand edited and inverted it to get a mask for the water. I applied a Gaussian blur, radius 40, to both and used them as masks in two adjustment layers. Reading Then and Now Exhibition : The Kennet with the Mill Lane Watertower

This image is one from an exhibition being held at the John Madjeski Art Gallery at the Reading (Berkshire) Museum from 14th February 2009 to 14th June 2009. In this exhibition drawings and paintings from the museum's collection are contrasted with photographs of the same views today. Originally the site of St Giles' Mill and a large water tower, it was subsequently used by the Reading Corporation Tramways for a Power Station (see plaque), then a bus depot, before being cleared to make way for the Oracle retail centre. The View I Left Behind

Now this IDR (Increased Dynamic Range) Image was done with AEB images but detailed mask work inside PS instead of the merge to HDR command. I'm not even sure if this took longer due to the dated way my comp is processing RAW from the 5D and then creating the 32bit image. Nonetheless this is the view from the backdoor of where I used to live. Messy, Creative Desktop

Playing around with geektool to give me a clock on the desktop, unearthed a great deal of possibility. So I added my todo list, and Events for the day, then since I like to trade on the Foreign Exchange while I am working on some artsy project, I stuck a chart that updates every minute on the desktop as well. The wallpaper was created by grabbing various things from the web and assembling it into a collage. I am certain that this will change and grow and develop over time.
